Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how UnSendAll collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website, iOS app, and legacy desktop app. UnSendAll helps users manage and unsend their own Instagram direct messages.

We do not sell your personal information. For the iOS app, we do not remotely store Instagram usernames, Instagram passwords, DM message text, inbox contents, conversation participants, media, or message content. The iOS app may store Instagram session data and message data locally on your device so the app can show chats, continue interrupted work, and complete unsend actions.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

We may collect information you choose to provide, including:

  • Support requests submitted through our contact page.
  • Your email address if you contact support.
  • Information included in your support message.
  • Purchase or subscription-related information made available through Apple, RevenueCat, Stripe, or our payment providers.

Device and App Information

The iOS app may create or collect a device identifier and app metadata, including:

  • Device ID or anonymous app installation identifier.
  • App version, platform, and basic diagnostic metadata.
  • Credit balance, usage counts, subscription status, and customer type.
  • Successful unsend event counts tied to the device identifier.
  • Error, sync, and unsend status information needed to operate, debug, and support the app.

Instagram Login and Session Data

Instagram login is handled through Instagram's services. UnSendAll does not ask for or remotely store your Instagram password. To operate the app, Instagram session cookies or tokens may be stored locally on your device. This local storage allows the app to access your Instagram account from your device so it can display chats and perform unsend actions you initiate.

Local App Data

To make the iOS app work and allow interrupted sync or unsend flows to continue, the app may store the following locally on your device:

  • Instagram session cookies or related local authentication data.
  • Chat lists and conversation metadata.
  • Message metadata, message text, media indicators, and unsend state.
  • Sync progress and unsend progress.
  • Usernames or display names needed to show chats inside the app.
  • App settings, demo mode state, local logs, cached credits, and cached subscription status.

This local data is stored on your device to support the app experience and continuation logic. It is not intended to be uploaded to our remote servers as part of normal iOS app operation.

Information We Do Not Remotely Store for the iOS App

For the UnSendAll iOS app, our remote systems are not intended to store:

  • Your Instagram password.
  • Your Instagram username during normal app operation.
  • Your Instagram DM inbox.
  • Message text or message content.
  • Conversation participant names or handles.
  • Photos, videos, or other Instagram media content.

If you voluntarily include personal information in a support request, we may receive and process that information to respond to you.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide the UnSendAll app and website.
  • Track free credits, usage limits, and successful unsend activity.
  • Verify subscription access and restore purchases.
  • Provide support and troubleshoot issues.
  • Improve reliability, error handling, and app performance.
  • Protect against abuse, fraud, and unauthorized use.
  • Comply with legal, tax, payment, and App Store requirements.

Analytics and Events

We may collect limited analytics events to understand app usage and reliability. These events may include a device identifier, app version, subscription or credit status, sync status, unsend status, successful unsend counts, errors, and timestamps. We do not use analytics events to remotely store Instagram message text, inbox contents, media, or conversation participant information.

Payments and Subscriptions

UnSendAll may offer paid subscriptions or purchases through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat helps us manage subscription status, entitlements, purchase validation, and restoring purchases. We may receive purchase status, entitlement status, subscription identifiers, renewal information, and anonymous customer identifiers from these services. We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple.

Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services to operate UnSendAll, including:

  • Apple App Store for iOS purchases, subscriptions, and app distribution.
  • RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management.
  • Cloudflare for hosting, security, and backend infrastructure.
  • Instagram to authenticate your account and perform actions you request.
  • Stripe for payment processing in legacy desktop versions, where applicable.

These services process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Demo Mode

The iOS app may include a demo mode for App Review and testing. Demo mode uses fake chats, fake messages, fake avatars, and sample data. Demo mode does not require a real Instagram login and does not access a real Instagram account.

Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device unless you delete it, log out where available, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Remote records such as device identifiers, credit balances, usage counts, successful unsend counts, subscription status, support metadata, and operational logs may be retained for as long as needed to provide the service, support users, prevent abuse, satisfy legal obligations, and maintain accurate purchase or credit records.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Apple account, and Instagram account.

Your Choices

You can:

  • Delete the app to remove locally stored app data from your device.
  • Contact us to request help with support records associated with your device or email address.
  • Manage or cancel iOS subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
  • Change Instagram account access through Instagram's own settings.

Children's Privacy

UnSendAll is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International Users

If you use UnSendAll outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using UnSendAll, you understand that your information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of UnSendAll after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
